In many somatic and mindfulness programs, experts ask you to learn how to tolerate emotional pain and life difficulty.
Well, I don’t know about you, but I am done tolerating too much! Instead, I want to transform the challenge and use the emotional pain to reclaim more wholeness. Follow the tips below to help you master the ability to transform pain to power.

TIP 1: Chose the Character You Want to Be In The “Play” of Your Life!
That is right, we all must find the ability to chose the character we are playing in our own life. I had a client this week whose boyfriend broke up with them. They loved this good man, but the man was not yet read to own is own light and show up in a healthy manner.
He instead chose to run. Now this client was sad, hopeless even. She felt this was a sign that she would never be able to find true, life-long love.
And I told her that she could chose to be the character in her own life play and be the one that changed her life so dramatically that she created that love she so desired.
You too must chose who you are! It is not a gift given to you – it is one you must create for yourself!
TIP 2: Develop your ability to sense and see energy. It is actually the easiest skill you can master.
As you begin to experience the world around you in that quantum reality where everything is made out of particles of energy, you then can open to the mystery of transforming negative emotions as opposed to simply “tolerating them!”
TIP 3: Energetically, what you focus on grows.
If you focus on what is not working in your life, you will get more of what is not working. Take some time today to name 5 skills and talents that you find support you in your life. Then, really own them and take ownership of them.
TIP 4: You can’t change, unless you change your brain.
When you practice Tip 3 and own your abilities, you actually rewire your brain to begin to focus on the positive. Now, I am not saying ignore the negative. For sure take note of it, yet don’t let it define your own inner value. Rewire yourself to see the world in a true quantum manner, and become the conscious creator of a better reality.
Become the optimist that can take misfortune, remold it like clay and create something beautiful from it! I know you can become that optimist creating your highest good! Be strong and don’t let your life events or emotions define your value!
